Career description

Danilenko Liudmila Ivanivna studied at the University of Kyiv (1976-1981) at the Department of Slavic Philology, where she graduated with honours. Between 1993 and 1996 she wrote her PhD thesis at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine: "National-cultural peculiarities of the semantics of Czech phraseological units". In 2000 she was a lecturer at the Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv. She also taught Czech (2000-2006) at the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Since then she has been working at the Department of Slavic Languages of the Institute of Linguistics named after O.O. Potebny. She participated in different editions of the International Congress of Slavists (XIII-XVI): 2003 (in Ljubljana, Slovenia), 2008 (Ohrid, Macedonia), 2013 (in Minsk, Belarus), and 2018 (in Belgrade, Serbia).
