The object of this project is to put together a digital repository of the entire production in the Galician language in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries while also creating and making available to scholars and the interested public a range of tools to assist in their study and interpretation. The idea is to create a catalogue of Middle Galician texts, weeding out false or apocryphal items and adding significant new contributions, build a data base to collect together and give access to the bibliographical references, reproductions and editions of the texts in the catalogue, produce rigorous, systematic editions of each text, develop tools permitting swift and reliable consultation of the linguistic data they contain, and finally to produce studies of the conditions in which these texts were produced, reconstructing their historical vicissitudes and analysing them from a linguistic and pragmatic perspective.
