Instituto da Lingua Galega welcomes visiting researchers interested in studying research topics relevant to the centre's areas of interest and activity. This programme is open not only to tenured professors or research fellows of universities and research centres but also to post-doctoral researchers and students.
Application
Anybody interested in participating in this programme is requested to fill in and send an application form, stating their personal and academic background, research topic and the specific purpose of their proposed stay. Research students are asked to attach a reference letter from their supervisor or from a member of ILG.
Application form
Applications will be considered in the order received. Their approval will depend on whether they fit in with the planned research avenues of the centre and on the availability of resources at the centre to meet their needs.
Services and installations
Instituto da Lingua Galega will provide accepted applicants with their own desk, access to its libraries and other research material, and use of the University's wi-fi network. By participating in the programme visiting researchers agree to use the centre's resources and installations in a responsible manner, and to respect its opening hours, rules and regulations.
Accommodation
The Vicerector's Office for Students, Culture and Continuous Training of the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela has a number of individual and double rooms and apartments of various sizes which are available to visiting professors and researchers (please see the University Halls of Residence Service).
